What we collect
If you sign up for launch updates we store your email address, whether you're a customer or a business, the trade you chose, and any postcode or business name you give us. We also store the page you came from and your country, and a one-way scrambled version of your IP address to stop spam. We do not store your IP address itself.
Why
Only to email you when the directory launches in your area and, if you're a business, to invite you to create a free listing. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or track you across other websites. We also keep a simple count of page views per site.
Who sees it
Your details are stored with Cloudflare and are not sold or shared with anyone else.
How long
We keep your details until the directory launches and for no more than 12 months after your last contact with us, unless you create an account.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or unsubscribe, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
